When it comes to cross border payments, we seek to simplify payments for partners to offer convenient and seamless solutions to their end consumers. Fuelling this vision, we recently partnered with Samsung Pay to introduce an in-app cross border payments service for Samsung Pay customers in the US. The service combines Samsung Pay’s convenience, scale and security with our international reach and 40 years of cross-border payment expertise to put mobile payments into the hands of millions of consumers. This partnership marks a significant collaboration to launch such a service with global scale. Read more
We have also signed an MoU with UnionPay International, a subsidiary of China UnionPay, for a potential cooperation to provide a range of global payments solutions to customers by combining the strengths of our networks. Our partnership will cover cross-border payments and will offer UnionPay cardholders a range of financial services outside of China through our global network. Read more
We have also partnered with Airtel Africa to enable their customers to send money from over 100 countries into Airtel Money mobile wallets across Africa, in a convenient, secure and cost-effective manner. Through this partnership, Airtel Africa benefits from gaining access to our global payments connectivity, technology platform, and our omnichannel sourcing and distribution capabilities spanning 170 countries.
